The Power of Shared Experience
Real-World Ideas and Experiences at the 2026 MAPTA Conference
One of the best ways to solve a parking or transportation challenge is to talk to someone who has already faced it.
That's one of the biggest advantages of bringing professionals from municipalities, universities, airports, private operations, and the broader parking and mobility industry together at the 2026 MAPTA Conference. This year's program offers plenty of opportunities to learn from real-world experiences, exchange ideas, and take practical lessons back to your organization.
Real Challenges. Practical Lessons.
During the session, "Relocatable Parking at the Ronald Reagan Airport Case Study", attendees will get a look at a first-of-its-kind relocatable parking structure being constructed in the Economy Lot. The project will add nearly 1,500 spaces, and presenters will share the evolution, design, construction approach, and potential applications of relocatable parking.
“Communicating in a Crisis” tackles a very different challenge: what happens when your organization suddenly finds itself in the spotlight. Drawing on real-world experience, the session will offer practical strategies for communicating with the media, stakeholders, and the public during emergencies, operational disruptions, and other high-visibility situations.
Attendees can also look beyond the region during “Global Enforcement Technologies”, exploring innovative enforcement technologies being used around the world and considering what could be adopted closer to home.
Learn From Each Other
Some of the most valuable conference insights don't come from a presentation. They come from sitting down with someone who understands your challenges.
Dedicated Municipal and Higher Education Panel/Roundtable Discussions will create space for attendees to compare experiences, exchange ideas, and learn directly from peers working in similar environments.
Those conversations can continue throughout the conference. Breakfast and lunch with exhibitors, the Reception with the Exhibitors, the Golf Tournament, and Welcome Dinner provide plenty of opportunities to meet industry partners, reconnect with colleagues, and build new relationships.
You might come to the conference looking for an answer to a specific challenge. You may leave with a new approach, a useful connection, or an idea you hadn't considered.
Join your peers at the 2026 MAPTA Conference and learn from the people who are putting ideas into practice every day.
