Director, Norfolk Parking Division

Raymond Stoner has forty years of experience in public and private parking and transit operations.  He started his parking career at the University of Maryland and, is currently the Director of the Norfolk Parking Division, Norfolk Virginia.

Mr. Stoner has held previous positions at the University of Maryland, College Park (Associate Director, Department of Transportation Services.  Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, (Manager of Parking, Office of Joint Development) and with, a private Parking and Transportation Firm as a General Manager.  He has a broad knowledge of the Parking industry and has also consulted many municipal and private operations regarding “Best Practices” for the Parking Management Industry.

He has served on the International Parking and Mobility Institute Board of Advisors and is a Past President of the Middle Atlantic Parking Association.
